Beaver Dam, Wis., son of Jacob and Josephine (Olszewski) La Buy, Graduated from De Paul University, Law School, with LL.B. degree, 1911, Master of Laws degree in 1912. Admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1911; asst. to the City prosecutor in 1911. Elected Cook County Commissioner in 1930.
