Orchestra conductor, pianist, composer. Came to N. Y. for the first time in 1928, where he made his debut at the Carnegie Hall. Conducted orchestras in Minneapolis, Cleveland, Toronto, Knoxville, and Kansas City. Conductor of the Symphony Orchestra, Warsaw, Poland. In 1935 the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia conferred upon him a doctor's degree honoris causa in music. Director of music at the Conservatory of Music, Kansas City; Kansas. Since 1938 member of P.N.A. His most famous compositions are: "Minuet," "Impromptu," "Etude in A Minor," "Concertino for piano and orchestra."
