Colonel of U. S. Army. Secretary of the Civil Service Commission; veteran of the Spanish-American, and World War. I. Came to America from Poland in 1882 as a nineteen year old boy and settled in Gainesville, Texas; was very active in the American Legion and at one time was its State Vice Commander; died in 1928, in El Paso, Texas; was an authority on veteran claims, adjustments, and legislation in Texas and Arizona.
