Lasecki, Joseph Andrew
Lawyer. Born Feb. 11, 1887 in Chicago, Ill.; son of Thomas and Josephine Lasecki who came to U.S. in 1886. Education: attended St. Stanislaus parochial school and St. Stanislaus Kostka H. S. and College; graduated from latter in 1903. From 1903-1916 engaged as clerk in administration dept., later as member of the editorial dept. of the "Dziennik Chicagoski." Was park commissioner of Chicago, Ill.; general secretary of the Polish Alma Mater; for 15 yrs. president of the Alumni of St. Stanislaus Kostka College. Graduated from Loyola University School of Law in 1918. Two yrs. assistant to Attorney General of State of Illinois. Candidate for Congress and for Secretary of State. Director of Midwest Savings and Loan Ass'n. Member of P.N.A. Married Bertha C. Wojtalewicz in 1920.
