Lesniewski, Rev. Francis
Roman Catholic clergyman. Born in Poland in 1884. Came to the United States in 1901 and was educated for the holy priesthood at the SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, Orchard Lake, Michigan, and at St. Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie, N. Y. He was ordained on May 17, 1913, at St. Patrick's Cathedral by the late Cardinal Farley. He has served at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingston, N.Y.; St. Stanislaus Church, N. Y. City; St. Stephens Church, Perth Amboy, N. J. and St. Clement's Church, Staten Island, N. Y. He also served for almost a year at St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon, N. Y. In July 1941 he was appointed pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Port Chester, N. Y., where he is still stationed. Residence: 229 Willett Ave., Port Chester, N. Y.
