Leszczynska, Therese
Mother Mary Hedwig. Superior General, Bernardine Sisters, Third Order of St. Francis, from 1912 to 1930. Born in Shenandoah, Pa., October 13, 1887; daughter of Anthony Leszczynski and Antoinette Janicka. Made her perpetual vows in the religious community of Bernardine Sisters on August 29, 1907. From 1930 to 1942 acted as General Adviser of Bernardine Sisters. At present Superior of Holy Name House of Studies at Philadelphia, Pa.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
