Lipinski, Rev. Martin
Roman Catholic clergyman. Born in Baltimore, Md. November 6, 1890; son of Ladislaus Lipinski and Apolonia Zajac, studied philosophy at the Polish Seminary, Orchard Lake, Mich. and completed his theological studies at St. Joseph's Seminary, Dunwoodie, N. Y., was ordained at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City by the late Cardinal Farley, June 16, 1916, and was incardinated to the Diocese of Trenton. His first assignment was as curate at St. Joseph's Church, Trenton, N. J., where he remained for over four years. For two years he was pastor of Holy Trinity Church, Helmetta, N. J. In 1922 he organized a new Polish parish in Great Meadows, N. J., now known as Ss. Peter and Paul Church, of which he was pastor for one year. In 1923 he was appointed pastor of Holy Cross Church, Trenton, N. J. On September 27, 1934, he was transferred as pastor to St. Hedwig's Church, Trenton, N.
