Lipinski M. Michael
Merchant. Born in Winona, Minn. At one time was the largest fresh water fish producer west of the Mississippi river. Owned and operated successfully two large wholesale fish houses in New York City; owned and operated the following wholesale fish houses: Warroad Fish Co., Warroad, Minn.; Mt. Clemens Fish Co., Mt. Clemens, Mich.; Minnewash Fish Co., Meppel, Washington; and 3 large storage Fish Ponds of Lake Pepin at Insey, Bay City and Maiden Rock, all in Wis. Sold his interest in New York and is now manager of the Delta Fish and Fur Farm. In 1940 production of that farm was 15,000 muskrat pelts; his farm comprises 5500 acres along the Mississippi river.
