Lubera, Thaddeus
Educator, sociologist, lecturer. Born in Chicago, Ill. Graduate of Senn H.S. and Armour Polytechnic Normal School; received B.A. degree from Lewis Institute; M.A. degree from Univ. of Chicago majoring in Philosophy of History. In DePaul Univ. majored in Pedagogy; received "Doctor of Pedagogy" degree from University of Chicago. Teacher in elementary schools for 10 yrs. Principal of McCormick elementary school for 2 yrs. Assistant principal at Wells H.S. 2 yrs. Professor of history, Amudsen H.S. 2 yrs. Appointed Principal of Hirsch H.S. of 2000 students in 1942. Lecturer in University of Chicago on "Youth and Society," "Youth and its sanity," "Youth and Education," "Youth and Occupation," "Rational use of leisure time," "Better conditions of life," "Preparation for professions," and "Intelligent guidance of youth." Residence: 3719 N. Sawyer Ave., Chicago, Ill.
