Manna, John
Civic leader. Veteran of many wars. Born Dec. 18, 1845 in Barlono, Poland. Took part in Dutch, Austro-Prussian and Franco-German wars. In 1872 emigrated to U.S. and settled in Chicago, Ill. Was one of the first members of P.R.C.U. and elected its General Secretary for several terms. One of the founders of St. Adalbert's parish in Chicago.
