Maryanski, Modest
Geologist-engIneer. The initiator and founder of the Polish Gold Mining Company in 1893 in California. The real name of this company was: Original Quartz Hill Gold Mining Company, "Kosciuszko." In 1896 the mine was closed; he left for Australia. In 1902 returned, and started to mine, but unsuccessful in the attempt.
