Born August 15, 1900 in Poland; the son of Stanislaus and Catherine (Turczynski) Mieszkowski. ln 1906 came to U.S.; attended Polish National Alliance College from 1913 to 1919 and Columbia University from 1919 to 1925. In 1923 received B.A. degree and in 1925 LL.B. degree. Lawyer with offices at 713-19 Deposit and Savings Bank Building, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Deputy Attorney General in Department of Forests and Waters of State of Pennsylvania. Married Marie Stepan, school teacher, June 12, 1929. Have three children: Marysia, Basia and Jozia. Republican. President of Council 13 of P.N.A. General Secretary of Alliance College Alumni Association. President of the Polish Citizens Committee of Luzerne County. In 1939 elected president of the Polish Central Committee, Wilkes Barre, Pa. Residence: 219 Lee Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
