Mieszkowski, John Kwiryn
Army officer. Born 1744 in Poland. As a captain came with the French Army of Rochambeau to U.S.; distinguished himself in the victorious skirmish with the terrible Tarleton at Gloucester, Va., on October 3, 1781.
