James Allen Miklaszewski (b. 1949) TV reporter

known as Jim or "Mik" Miklaszewski; chief Pentagon correspondent for NBC News; on September 11, 2001 he was the first at the scene to report that the Pentagon had been attacked; since joining NBC in 1985, Miklaszewski was a White House correspondent during the Bush Sr. and Clinton administrations; prior to joining NBC News, he worked for CNN as a National Correspondent and covered the Reagan White House; he was also a moderator for two CNN public affairs programs, Election Watch and Newsmaker Sunday.
