Misicki, Rev. Thomas, Ph.D., S.T.D.
Writer. Born about 1865 in Poland. Educated at the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland; ordained May 19, 1889. In 1892 received his S.T.D. degree in Krakow. Came to U.S. in 1893. Pastor of St. Stanislaus parish, Shamokin, Pa., from Feb. 13, 1897 to 1900; worked at various parishes in New Britain, Conn., Mt. Camel, Pa., Shamokin, Pa. and Trenton, N. J. Wrote several books in Polish, Latin, Italian, German, English. Some of his books are: "Pisemka Ulotne i Okolicznosciowe." "Nauki o Mece Panskiej," "Stanislaus Tarnowski," "Henry Sienkiewicz," "Triple Tragedy of Poland" and others. Pastor of Holy Rosary parish. Williamsport, Pa., until his death. Died October 31, 1935.
