Clergyman. Born Oct. 20, 1887 in Szrensk, Poland; secondary education in Pultusk; completed Theological Seminary in Plock, Poland where he was ordained May 8, 1910. Came to U.S., settling in Cleveland, 0., in 1912. Ass't. at St. John Kanty, Cleveland, 0., 1912-1914; administrator and pastor, 1914-1919; pastor of St. Stanislaus, Lorain, 0., 1919-1920; pastor of St. Mary of Czestochowa, Corlett, 1920-1921; pastor of Sacred Heart, Cleveland, 0., 1921-1930; since 1932 pastor of Immaculate Heart of St. Mary, Cleveland, 0. On March 18, 1940 elevated to the rank of Domestic Prelate by the Holy See. Residence: 7007 Casimir Ave., S.E., Cleveland, Ohio.
