Diplomat. Consul of Poland at Chicago, Ill. Business address: 49 E. Cedar Street, Chicago, Ill. Born in Zarzecze, county of Rzeszow, Poland, February 14, 1889; son of Jan and Agnieszka (Wilk) Moc. Completed secondary education in Poland. Graduated from Academy of Exports in Vienna, Austria. Married Kazimiera Kranz, June 21, 1921. Has one daughter, Danuta. During the World War I, served in the Austrian Army in the rank of lieutenant. For eighteen months he was a Russian prisoner of war. From Nov. 4, 1918, took part in the Ukrainian campaign, and then against the Bolsheviks. Was a battalion commander with the rank of captain. Since Dec. 15, 1921, serves in the Polish foreign consular service. Attached to the consulates at Moravska Ostrava (Czechoslovakia), at Essen and Bytom, Germany, then in the Central Office at Warsaw. His first consular post in United States was at the Polish Consulate at Pittsburgh and then was transferred to the Polish Consulate at Chicago.
