Monczynski, Anthony H.
Public official. Born May 25, 1883 in Buffalo, N. Y. Attended St. Adalbert's Parochial School and Public School No. 24. Completed high school course at Central High School, Buffalo, N. Y. After graduation, secured position with Erie R.R. In 1906 was appointed Deputy Sheriff of Erie County by James Smith, Sheriff of Erie County. At the expiration of his term, went into Ice and Coal Business. In 1910, was elected Member of the New York State Assembly on the Democratic ticket. In 1912, appointed Deputy State Superintendent of Elections and served one term in that department. In 1913 appointed Special Deputy Clerk of Supreme Court, Part 6, by County Clerk Simon Nash.
