Mondziel, Frank Adalbert
Teacher, designer. Born April 15, 1908, in Lackawanna, N. Y. Son of Andrew and Honorata (Pula) Mondziel. Graduated from Batavia High School, 1926. After completing a correspondence course in Mechanical Engineering, he entered the employ of Woehler Die Casting Co., Batavia, N. Y., as an apprentice draftsman in the engineering office, October 1928. Assumed the duties of chief designer at above concern in 1938. Married Frances Januszak of Batavia, in 1935; have three children. In 1937 passed the New York State examination as a vocational school teacher. Since that time a teacher at the Evening School of Batavia Vocational High School. Catholic. Member of Sacred Heart Church, Holy Name Society. Since 1930 a member of Polish Falcons. Interested in the Boy Scout movement and serves as an assistant and Scoutmaster of various troops from 1929 to present time. Republican. Ward-committee man, 1938-40.
