Morsztyn, Helen
Pianist. Born in Warsaw, Poland. A member of one of the old aristocratic families of Poland; title of countess by birth. In earliest childhood she showed an aptitude for music and began her musical studies at the age of seven. At the age of twelve she became a pupil of Leszetycki and later studied under Emile Sauer. Was graduated from the Meisterschule in Vienna at the age of sixteen. Known as a noted pianist, having scored great successes at various concert appearances.
