Physicist. Born in Warsaw, Poland, Feb. 9, 1902. In 1932 University of Warsaw granted him Doctor of Philosophy degree lecturer of physics at the University of Warsaw from 1933 to 1939 In Aug. 1939 came to U.S. for special research studies which he undertook at the University of California, where he also lectured.
