Clergyman. Born in Silesia, Poland. Secondary education in Krakow, Poland; philosophy and theology in Turin, Italy. In 1900 came to U.S. Studied at the Polish Theological Seminary, Detroit, Mich. On Nov. 28, 1910, ordained in Wheeling, W. Va., the first Polish priest in the diocese of Wheeling, W. Va.; first priest to organize the first Polish parish in the state of West Virginia in 1910. Since that time, to date, pastor of St. Ladislaus parish, Wheeling, W. Va. Speaks Polish, Italian, German, French and English fluently. Address: 4509 Eoff St., Wheeling, W. Va.
