Felician Order. Teacher. Principal. Provincial-superior. Born in Rekowo, Pomerania, June 7, 1874. Daughter of John and Henrietta Abraham. In 1874 came with her parents to Detroit, Mich. Studied at St. Albertus School, and at the Seminary of the Felician Sisters, Detroit, Mich. Teacher from 1898 1918. Superintendent in St. Mary's Home for the Aged in Manitovoc, Wis. from 1908-1910. Directress and Principal of the Academy of the Felician Sisters, Detroit, Mich, from 19101913. Principal in various parochial schools from 1913-1920. Mistress of Novices from 1920-1926. Provincial superior of Detroit, Province from 1926-1932; re-elected to the same office for another six year term, 19321938. In 1933 was presented with a Cross of Merit by the Polish Army of Veterans. In 1935 took charge of the domestic department of SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary, Orchard Lake, Mich. and of Patronage of St. Joseph School, Detroit, Mich. In 1936 opened the Sacred Heart School for Colored Children, Detroit, Mich. In 1936 built the new convent in Plymouth, Mich., to which she transferred the Mother-house from Detroit. In 1937 organized the Presentation Junior College in Plymouth. Mich.
