Came to Pittsburgh, Pa., on Sept. 10, 1896 as assistant pastor of Sr. Stanislaus Kostka parish. In August, 1898 appointed rector of the Holy Ghost College, Latrobe, Pa. Founded the Polish weekly paper, "Wielkopolanin," on March 30, 1899 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Founded the Polish Orphanage: Holy Family Institute in Elswortli, Pa., in 1900.
