Attorney at law. Born March 17,1882 in Wagrowiec, Poland. Son of Peter and Lucy Tomczak. Came to U.S. with parents and settled in Manistee, Mich.. where he lived for twenty years. Educated at St. Joseph's parochial school, Manistee, Mich. Manistee High School, and Manistee Business College. Came to Chicago to study law, at La Salle Extension University. Married Elizabeth Tomaszkiewicz in 1906; children: Sophie, Anthony. Manager of the Claim and Legal Department, Chicago Motor Coach Company. Member of the Executive Committee and General Secretary of the Holy Name Society of the Archdiocese of Chicago. President of the United Councils, Polish Roman Catholic Union of Chicago. Treasurer of the Polish American Council, District No. 20. Trustee of St. Hyacinth's parish. Vice-president of the American, Polish, Czechoslovakian Institute. Director of Catholic Charities of Chicago. Former alderman of the 39th Ward in 1923, 1924 and 1925. Residence: 4019 Barry Ave., Chicago, Ill.
