Member of: Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE); life member, Los Angeles Comandery #9, Knights Templar, Electronic Research Lodge #1.

Honors: Hiram Award, 1988, appointed marshal, 1989, South Pasadena Lodge, Free & Accepted Masons.

Affiliation: Republican. Protestant.
