Physician. In 1937 commissioned captain of medical staff of regular U.S. Army. Born in St. Paul, Minn. Elementary education received at St. Adalbert's parochial school, St. Paul; secondary education at Cretin High School, St. Paul. Minn. Graduated from St. Thomas College and from the University of Minnesota, Medical School in 1932 with M.D. degree. Practiced at St. Mary's Hospital, St. Paul, Minn. In 1933 opened offices in Winona, Minn. On Sept. 1, 1935 received the rank of First Lieutenant of the regular U.S. Army. Since August 26, 1936 member of the medical staff at Walter Reed Hospital, Washington, D.C.
