Wapiennik, Charles
Teacher. Born Nov. 4, 1898, Morszyna, Poland. Son of Francis and Pauline Wapiennik; completed Gymnasium in Stryj, Poland. In 1914 came to U.S.; studied music in Pittsburgh, Pa. In 1928 received a certificate as a teacher of music from Sherwood Music School, Chicago, Ill. Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pa., granted him a Certificate of Teaching Music in Public Schools. At present (1943) he is a teacher of music at Donora Junior High School, teaching instrumental music, and conducting School Orchestra. He is also an organist at St. Mary's parish, Donora, Pa. Member of P.N.A. In 1915 organized a Thaddeus Kosciuszko Society in Zangeloth. Pa. Member of P.R.C.U. since 1922. Address: 211 Brokaw Ave., Donora, Pa.From: "Who's Who in Polish America" by Rev.
