Public official. Born Sept. 27, 1903 in Zloczow, Poland. At the age of 6 came with his parents to America, settling at Donora, Pa., where he completed the parochial school and attended the local high school. Graduated from Alliance Technical Institute, Cambridge Springs, Pa. in 1921. Attended Douglas Business College, Charleroi, Pa. From 1927 to 1930 lived in Chicago, Ill., where he took an active part in Council 75 and Lodge 1936, P.N.A. In 1930 he returned to Charleroi, Pa. and from 1930 until 1940 was re-elected every year as president of Council 60, P.N.A. Very active in organizing Polish sport clubs in District 8th, P.N.A. For four years he was a radio announcer. Organized a Polish Radio Club by Station WHJB, Greensburg, Pa. Former president of Polish American Citizens Club of Monessen, Pa. and president of Polish American Political League of Westmoreland County. Deputy Recorder of Deeds in Westmoreland County since 1936. At the national convention in Detroit, Mich., elected director of Polish National Alliance of U.S. of North America for a period of four years, 1939-43.
