Entered Novitiate of O.M.C in 1930, Ellicot City, Md.; attended Propaganda College, Rome, Italy, 1931-32; studied at St. Hyacinth's Seminary, Granby, Mass., 1932-38; ordained July 3, 1938; St. Bonaventure's College, Allegheny, N.Y., with B.A. degree, 1939: MA., in 1940: B.S. in L.S., Syracuse University, School of Library Science, 1941.
