Werwinski, Ignace K.
Born July 2, 1886 in South Bend, Ind. Graduated from elementary school, high school, and business and law schools in South Bend, Ind. Veteran of World War I, and lieutenant of U.S. Army. Federal Commissioner of Deeds for state of Indiana. Instrumental in popularizing the name of General Casimir Pulaski in United States of America. Leader of the movement to print special stamp in honor of Casimir Pulaski. Member of P.N.A. since 1910, later elected director of said organization, for two terms.
