Wieczorek, Rev. Francis
Roman Catholic clergyman. Born in 1878, in Silesia, Poland. Received his elementary and secondary education in Europe. Studied philosophy and theology in Italy. Came to U.S. in 1906 and was incardinated to the diocese of Pittsburgh, Pa. and ordained to holy priesthood in 1908. First assignment as pastor of a church in Iselyn, Pa: He was the first pastor of St. Genevieve's Church, Conansburg, Pa. In 1920 he was appointed pastor of St. Hedwig's Church, Brier Hill and St. Casimir's Church, Keisterville Pa., which parishes he served jointly until his death. Died October 26, 1942.
