Wiencek, Alice
Artist. Born in Chicopee, Mass. The daughter of Stanislaus Wiencek from Detroit, Mich. In 1937 won a Kenneth Hayes Miller scholarship of the Art Students League in New York. Decorator for the artistic weekly papers. The Post Office Department in Washington. D.C., engaged her to paint a fresco in the main Post Office in New York City.
