Winiecki, Leo J.
Businessman. Born April 24, 1876 in Chicago, Ill. Graduated from St. Stanislaus Kostka parochial school; for 14 years worked in printing shop of Wirmish & Dean; in 1906 became co-owner of this printery and the name was Wirmish & Winiecki. In 1918 he bought the other half and established a new business as Security Printing Company. In 1911 unsuccessful candidate for city council. In 1914 appointed member of Arbitration Council for Workers. Trustee Catholic Foresters. Collected a big sum of money for the St. Hedwig's Orphanage at Niles. Later vice-president of Foresters. In August 30, 1898 married Otylla Szymanska. Member of P.R.C.U., K. of C. Democratic Committeeman of 35th Ward of Chicago, Ill. Died in 1936 in Chicago, Ill.
