Wojcik, Teresa Genevive Ph.D.
(born: 1975)

Dr. Teresa G. Wojcik is a graduate of several Philadelphia Universities. She obtained her B.S. degree at Temple University in Secondary Education in the Social Studies Department. Her masters degree came from Villanova University (Learning Processes). Then she received the prestigious Fullbright grant to do social and sociological research. During her ten-month stay in Poland she studied educational programs with specific attention to teaching methods with the active participation of the students. The results of her research were included in her doctoral dissertation which was accepted and Ph.D. degree granted by the acclaimed University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Presently Dr. Wojcik lectures at Villanova University and at the University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Education and Human Services. Her range of interests includes: the philosophy of education, effective methods of teaching, and the social sciences. Dr. Wojcik is actively involved in the life of Polonia in Philadelphia. She is the president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Kosciuszko Foundation and is a member of the Polish Heritage Society of Philadelphia and a number of professional organizations.
