Wozniak, Rev. Boleslaus L.
Roman Catholic clergyman. Born in Buffalo, N.Y. Son of Leo and Catherine Wozniak. Received B.A. degree from St. Mary's College, Detroit, Mich. Completed theological studies at Our Lady of Angels Seminary. Ordained to holy priesthood in 1934 by Most Rev. Bishop J.J. Walsh. First assignment as assistant to Holy Cross Church, Salamanca, N.Y., thence transferred to Most Precious Blood Church, Angola, N. Y. In 1936 he undertook postgraduate studies at the Catholic University, Washington, D.C., and in 1938 was awarded Master of Science degree. Upon his graduation from Catholic University was appointed by the Buffalo Diocese as director of Catholic Charities for Niagara County. In 1941 he was appointed assistant Diocesan Director of Catholic Charities by the Diocese of Buffalo. Member of American Association of Social Workers and executive member of Niagara Falls Council of Social Agencies. Address: 6 Broadway, Buffalo, N.Y.
