Roman Catholic Bishop. Born August 17, 1894 in Miners Mills, Pa. Son of Stephen and Michaela (Jablonski) Woznicki. Education: SS. Cyril and Methodius College and Seminary, Orchard Lake, Mich.; St. Paul Seminary, St. Paul, Minn.; ordained Roman Catholic priest, December 22, 1917. Asst. at St. Joseph's R. C. Church, Danville, Pa., 1918-1919; Sec. to the Bishop Gallagher of Detroit, since March 3, 1919 until Jan. 21, 1938. Appointed Domestic Prelate with the title of Rt. Rev. Monsignor, Feb. 9, 1926. Presiding judge of Matrimonial Court of the Diocese. Pastor of St. Hyacinth's Church, Detroit, Mich., 1906 till now (1943). Auxiliary Bishop elect of Detroit. Dec. 11, 1937; consecrated Jan. 21, 1938. Member: Alumni Association of the Polish Seminary, Orchard Lake, Mich.
