Wundheiler, Alexander
Mathematician. Born in Warsaw, Poland, April 6,1902. In 1932 University of Warsaw granted him Doctor of Philosophy degree. Associate professor of Mathematics and theoretical mechanics at the University of Warsaw. Author of several textbooks published in Poland by the Ministry of Education. Came to the U.S. in July, 1939 to attend the "Fifth International Congress for the Unity of Science," which was held in Cambridge, Mass., from Sept. 6th to 8th, 1939. Former instructor in mathematics Tufts College, Medford, Mass. Corresponding member of the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences in America.
